What it’s all about
The Monterey Bay Defense Alliance (MBDA) exists to protect and strengthen the national security assets of the Monterey Bay Area. We advocate, connect, and engage, bringing together military leaders, community partners, and elected officials around a shared mission. From the Defense Language Institute to Fort Hunter Liggett, Team Monterey’s 15 DoD activities represent a $4.9 billion annual economic impact and a critical node in America’s national security network. MBDA is a (pending) 501(c)(3) membership-based nonprofit organized in partnership with the City of Monterey.
